This week’s tip: Use your data
Open any instructional event from last week on your TimeTrack. Click the teacher associated with the event—the blue link. Examine the options. Before clicking on Breakout of Time Spent link, consider the last time you worked with this teacher and the next scheduled time. What does your overall time with the teacher look like? Do the events connect logically? In other words, are you doing things that taken in total will improve the teacher’s practice?
Clicking on the Breakout Time Spent takes you to the chart below. Clicking the frequency link, upper right, show the relationship between seeing instruction and feedback. Again, are you doing the things necessary to help the teacher? Is there logic to the pattern ~ does feedback regularly follow seeing instruction?
Examining your data will make you a better leader. Reflecting will make you great!
